ABOUT

Kim has lived throughout the US but recently returned to the Northeast to embark on a lifelong dream. She and her husband purchased the Prentice-Browning homestead, a 1700s Colonial and Greek Revival set on one hundred acres in eastern Connecticut.

Kim studied industrial design and sculpture at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. There, she discovered a love for storytelling through the physical space and the power to connect emotionally through design. She received her MFA in set design from the University of Washington, Seattle, and today, Kim works in a range of design disciplines and with a roster of global clientele.

Kim’s approach is never cookie-cutter; she believes every client has a story to tell, and each space will evolve to reflect what is inherent in that union between people and the spaces they inhabit.
