BARBADOS
The HyattCentric brand is about creating authentic experiences for travelers. The design for Barbados was a blending of British Colonial, mid-century textures and shapes, and a raw island vibe. Patterns and fabrics, materials, and forms were chosen that reflected the colors and details found on the island.
The private spaces like the guest suites, bathrooms, and wellness center were thoughtfully curated to create a retreat for relaxation and stimulation of the senses. Public spaces like the lobby and restaurants were created based on the architect’s open plan and invited travelers and locals to meet, mingle and discover.
